You can't fight a war against an adjective to start with but hell why let that get in the way of a good rant right? Iraq as this administration has tried to fight it is lost, the war on terror can and will be won when we get a sane realistic strategy in place, you can't fight terrorism the way the idiots in this administration have approached it, you can win it with better intelligence gathering capabilities, surgical strikes against identified terrorist cells and through long term diplomacy, isolate and sanction terror sponsors and reward those who help in the fight with aid,you know the whole hearts and minds thing and all

lol. How can you win if you don't even know what your enemies look like? That's great we are trying to win a war against a faceless enemy. Call me when we win the war on drugs and the war on gangs. Then I will let you know if the terrorist won the war or not. The number is 555-urdumb.

I think the heart of the question reveals the ignorance of the whole notion of a War on Terror. I think there are so many buzzwords its a waste of mental effort to keep up. I think if we lose the war on terror and the troops come home then the troops win the war on terror.

I think most people are saying we lost the war in Iraq, not the war on terror...

Osama Bin Laden has won! Mission impossible not accomplished! That is because the "new terror tactic" appears to be "invincible" no matter what strategy is used. Now there may be no choice but to resign and hope that the "new order" in Iraq is freedom. =<)

The Democrats.
If your political rivals declare a war, and lose it, you have an excellent chance to sieze power from them...
...assuming of course, the loss in question leaves you with a country to sieze power in, which is a pretty safe assumption in this case.

You need more perspective. Why do some people think there are military solutions to political problems? Your syllogism does not apply.
