I'm re-starting my sewing business. I need to design and order business cards and hanging tags (the tags that you attatch to the clothing). I want to do this as economically as possible. I tried to do a google search, but I'm overwhelmed and am not finding what I'm looking for. Any insight? And where do I find the gun-thingy that attatches the tagss to the fabric? Help!

Go to www.vistaprints.com They have great offers for all kinds of printing needs. Plus they always offer free business cards. You just have to pay for shipping!! As for the gun-thingy.. being that we are using technical terms.. that can be bought on ebay. Type in tagger and I found one for under $20. Good luck!

For getting started you can go to WalMart and purchase packs of 100 printable business cards for about $3.60.

Use a photo editor program to design your busienss cards and print them yourself, you can 'look' at Vista Print to get ideas and then create your own for less!

For hang tags, simply design 2 cards, one is the inside (right and left of fold) of the hang tag and one is the outside (front and back of the fold). Print, flip the sheet over and print the other side.

Separate cards, fold each in half, and puch a hole in the corner. Voila, your cards just became hang tags for a FRACTION of the cost!

You can create pretty good business cards on a laser printer, right from your computer.
