how do I add a nice background to myspace? at the moment It's just white and plain x?

Visit this link, its pretty simple you can search for a myspace layout of whatever topic you would like which is probably the best thing you can do. Otherwise if you would like to make one of your own from scratch you can also create it there.

Thankfully myspace makes this really easy. First pick out a background you like: you can google "myspace layouts" and you'll find hundreds of layouts/themes for your myspace page. When you find one you like click on it then cut and paste the code they provide you. Once you have it, sign into myspace and hit "edit profile" then in the "About Me" box paste this code and click "save"

That's it! You're done. Click "view my profile" in the top right corner and you should see your layout on your page! :)

There are TONS of websites out there!

I reccomend Googling 'myspace layouts' and choosing whichever one you like best by copying and pasting the code into your 'About Me' section.

If you want a tailormade layout, then you HAVE to go to http://nuclearcentury.com/ and click on Myspace Layouts, then click on Create a Layout

search myspace layouts on google or somethin and when you find a good website and a layout you like there should be a code somewhere on the page

next copy the code into the "about you" section in your edit profile and save the changes
check out ur profile

Ok I have just joined My Space much to my daughters shock as I am her mother apparently should not have joined lol
What I did as mean daughter refused to show me how to pimp my space is I went to one of my friends spaces and in top right hand corner they had a flashing icon that said done by photobucket or whatever they used. I clicked on that looked up which layout I wanted you then click on it copy the address and then go back to your space go to edit and then find "About me" and scroll down your words as you still want to keeep what you have written about yourself. At the end of words click the right of your mouse and up will come lots of gobbly words unreadable go to top and click save changes and then when you check out your space it will be pretty.
Have fun I use potobucket a lot and then there is Prizam.
if you have no friends just go search for anyone and click on if they let you in their space their icon.
remember the front page will be plain as it is your personal only stuff.

On the sides, or the main table? That will make the whole background white. If that's not what you wanted, then maybe be a little more clear next time, or learn css yourself - it's not that hard.

Just go to http://www.pimp-my-profile.com . Here you can make your own background and themes and everything. Just copy and paste the code in the "About me" section after you made the background and all.

try pimp-my-profile.com or you can simply browse anyone elses profile and look around their page for a logo that looks like it might be a website link for for graphic layouts. Be careful of bad websites might try to give you a virus.

there are tons of pimp sites to get a cool background, layout, etc...just google & u will find!!! or an alternative is to take a personal pic that u like & use that...

well.. u go to whateverlife.com and go to myspace layouts nd then pick.. then click on preview) then right click.. then copy then go back to ur myspce then click on edit profile.. then click on the first box then paste wht u copied..!!!
