the harrasment at work is so bad i cant take it, i live in Iowa, anyone know the law?

I had my coat sleeve filled with greese, my car was egged, i have had to put up with "the looks to kill" every time one girl would go out of her way to see me, she verbally bashed me thursday, swearing and screaming, they have put things in my finished product to get me into trouble, swiched labels on my products, refuse to let me give them breaks, which is what i am suppose to do and the most recent....this girl walks up to me and said. "dont fu.k with me, i'll rip your fu.king head off. i dont play games i WILL rip your fu.king head off and you dont believe me, ask dan (my boss), he will tell you the same thing, that i will rip your fu.king head off....
so i asked my boss and he said nothing.
this will be the second day that i have missed work. what do i do?? i am so upset, if i didnt need that job i would not be there, but who else will pay my bills. i told the manager and the owners son, he hired me, what was going on a while ago, and still nothing, its just getting worse.

Hi Laurie,

What you have stated is harassment in the workplace. You need to document in any way that you can, what is happening. If you need to make a log book and make entries including date, time, place, people involved and what happened. Document what you remember to date, and any future harassment.

You need to let the boss know that you will be following through with higher and further actions if the harassment does not stop. Document that you did this. Send him an email, be polite. Report the harrassment to your HR department (the person that hired you), and if he does nothing, then you need to escalate to regulatory and legal agencies.

I am not sure what state you live in, but you should search the internet for agencies that deal with employment, and if you cannot get it stopped, call a lawyer - they love to make money off of stupid companies that cannot provide a safe work place.

harassment is all over the world ,especially if you are pretty woman, you should notified you boss to pout a stop to this you humiliation,if you boss do not act immediately fill a charge.but first you must took to you boss,before do any thing, that is the low;
