Yes! It was Elizabeth Rohm. As soon as a displayed the picture, my mom said " I thought that was Alex!". Thanks! That has been driving me crazy!

Right show, wrong ADA! Alex Cabot was the ADA on "Law & Order SVU" and she was never revealed as being gay. Alex left the show via way of the Witness Protection Programme after working on a case surrounding Columbian druglords
The blonde ADA whose sexuality was finally revealed in "Law & Order" was Serena Southerlyn, as portrayed by Elisabeth Rohm. Elisabeth left the show in 2005. In the show Serena departs the ADA office because her boss felt she was too sympathetic towards defendants and running with her emotions. As a reaction to this Serena blurts out "Is this because I am a lesbian?". To which her boss Arthur Branch replies, "No, of course not."
The episode title is "Aint No Love" and is only the second time in "Law & Order" history that a main character departed the show half way through the season.

If she is the Blond, I believe I heard her say she was. Unless Alzheimer's has taken over and I just thought she did!! Which is a distinct possibility.
