As you can see his era has gotten higher and higher after each outing. He's 2-2 with an era of 4.00

Game 1 vs Royals 1.29
Game 2 vs Mariners 2.57
Game 3 vs Blue Jays 2.70
Game 4 vs Yankees 4.00
Game 5 vs Yankees this Friday. What will his era be after that game?

This guy is simply not what Boston thought he was going to be.

Even if the Red Sox win on Friday the Yankees will get him for at least 5 or 6 just like they do everyone else.

You have to remember that this guy is a rookie to the majors. Don't expect a Santana in his first few games (thought Santana really hasn't been all that great this year either).
