The bibliography is important because without it, the sources you used mine as well be made up. Without proof of where you took the information from, it's useless. It is also very important because plagiarism is illegal. According to the law, you must give credit to people whose works you use.

The bibliography is an important part because it is the source of your information where you have delved into to get the data to prove your thesis.Your sources of information give your thesis a viability that you are not pulling facts out of thin air but a physical reality which can be used for a deeper understanding of the subject you are involved in researching.

A bibliography is important so that your teacher knows where you found this information so she can tell if it's true. It's also especially important if you're using quotes in your paper so that you don't get caught plagerising. Hope this answered your question. :)

Because in your paper, you can make any claims and statements you want to but without a source or some proof, it's meaningless. For all the reader knows, you could be making it up.

most importantly, it is to give credit where it is due. people put lots of hard work into books and things, and need to be given credit.
if you quote or use someone elses idea, and you dont give them credit, it is the same as stealing from them.
