Example ; change 50% to a fraction.
50/100
then break down the fraction of a hundred as much as possible , as follows ;
50/100 = 1/2 (found by dividing both the numerator, which is the top number ; and the denominator, which is the bottom number, by 50.
1/2 is the final answer.

A percentage is always part of 100. For example.
for example 20% is .2 and that is 2/100 which =1/50
55% is .55 wich is 55/100 wich is 11/20.
99% is .99 or 99/100
88% is .88 or 88/100 or 44/50 or 22/25

Ok, Let's say you have 25%. The base of every number is 100. Then you divide 25% by 100% and then you have 1/4. I got 1/4 because how many times can you put 25 into 100%. I hope it helps.

well say the number is 50. to make the easiest fraction it would be 50/100. Then you would simplify it as much as you could.
It would be a lot easier to explain if it wasnt over the computer...sorry.

extremely simple. just put the percent num over 100, then reduce.
ex: 72% = 72/100 = 17/25
40% = 40/100 = 2/5

remove the percent sign, and divide by 100.
Examples:
12.5% is 12.5/100 which equals 1/8
10% is 10/100 which equals 1/10
33.333...% is 33.3333.../100 which is 1/3
50% is 50/100 which equals 1/2
200% is 200/100 which equals 2
