the detroit lions have had one of the lowest winning percentages in the NFL since 2000. almost every 1st round draft pick has been a bust. the lions have not been in the playoffs since barry sanders retired.

with all of this information, how matt millen STILL has a job as the GM of the Lions ( let alone any job in the NFL other than color commentator ) is astounding.

matt millen SHOULD have been fired years ago. hopefully someone in the ownership family will wake up and smell the 10W-40 motor oil and fire him cause the city of detriot and their football team need help FAST.

Guaranteed who ever the Lions take with the #2 pick saturday will be a flop.

When the Ford Motor company goes under and they can't live off that bank anymore and they have to sell the team to people that might actually care how their team performs. I am a loyalist and trust me its hard. I have said for the last 3 years that literally the fans just need to stop going to the games and hit the Fords where it hurts, they won't have a choice. Old man Ford is a nut job, always has been, don't think his son is much better either.

he'll be fired in a couple years ago when the ford family finally decides it's time to fire someone...this family has a history of allowing all their incompetent employees to stick around for way too long, and millen is a perfect example of someone who would be gone from any other nfl franchise

When the Lions go 0-16. In other words, after next season.

After the Ford family gets ahold of the pictures he has of them in compromising situations. Thats the only reason I can think of that he still has a job right now. Whenever it happens, I'd almost guarantee its his last job as an NFL GM.

well as the lions #1 fan i would hope so. but i doubt it. him and ford are to close. he'd have to do something totally retarded for him to get fired, but anyway i refuse to by a ford until millen is no longer gm

whenever the FANS decide not to show up for a game or they turn their tickets in every week or when there are more fans there for the opposing team like when the Bears played their it seemed like there was more Bear fans than Lion fans
