It is actually not as unrealistic as you think. If you have any relatives from the UK or France or Germany way back in your family lineage, you could very well be related to someone of royal blood.
My mother is doing our genealogy and I am a descendant of William the Conqueror and of King Henry I,II and III, among other royalty and, of course, commoners.

Probably not. Not if you lived in the U.S. anyhow. There is no royalty in the U.S. I would probably recognize if you were from a foreign country that had royalty, so it all depends. Nice question though, makes for some good daydreaming. LOL!
