Had you asked...."Can you really trust animals instead of people?'
My answer would be..."To a certain degree, and depending on the animal, yes."
Do I trust people in general? Not many. I need to know more about them before they gain my trust.
Do I trust people who don't like animals?
No.

Some people have good reasons to not like animals.
They perhaps just never got over their fear.
If you have been attacked by dogs or thrown off or trampled by a horse it seems natural to not like animals.
If on the other hand you are a evil person animals can sense this.

In all honesty, I have trouble trusting people who don't like animals, but I have a harder time trusting people that animals don't like.

Any kind of animal?
I certainly wouldn't with the exception of people that have been tramatized by an animal and even then you can't blame all animals (ie: blame a dog for what a cat did, blame a cat for what a dog did)

I love eating animals! I haven't had venison in a looong time. I miss that. I also have never tried elk or buffalo. I would like a bear steak, but I don't know if they are good. Rabbit wasn't very good. Rattlesnake was fun, but not very filling. Fish has too many bones. Chicken is ALWAYS good. Steak is great. Duck sucked. I have heard that whale is really tough. I would try horse. Cat and dog would have to kinda be crept up on I think. Snails, with butter and garlic, yum yum. Sushi is entertaining...

One has nothing to do with the other. Some people are uneasy with animals, others are allergic. Some have had bad experiences with them.
You can't generalize in a statement like that, it is inaccurate.

thats up to you darlin, people can be totally trustworthy, and not like animals because of a bad experience. this is the problem with people today, too much of that, judging people by things they do, you cant tell if someone is nice because they like animals, you got to get to know that person to know for sure.

I don't know about trusting them, but they sure seem much more selfish and close-minded than those who do like animals. I will never again be with someone who doesn't like them.

Since I am supposed to be the grown up, I would use my wise judgement and not depend on the animal...but....
Animals and kids seem to know instinctively....good or bad.......I
personally would not trust some one who is not compassionate.... unless they were just allergic to the fur.
