Rudy Giuliani said if a Democrat is elected president in 2008, America will be at risk for another terrorist attack on the scale of Sept. 11, 2001.

But if a Republican is elected, he said, especially if it is him, terrorist attacks can be anticipated and stopped.

Question- Is he spouting nothing but fear to get himself elected and if so how does that make you feel ?

He is full of it. Conservatives hate liberal anti-gun, pro-gay marriage Giuliani.

Rudy is being a bit optomistic when he said no terrorist attacks if he is elected. However, it will be more difficult for a nother 9/11 to happen. What is so scary is that if a Democrat is elected we will be back where we were pre-9/11. The Dems seem to be of the mindset that if we mind our own business and stay on this side of the pond, we won't be attacked.

That statement made me lose some respect for Giuliani, especially as he was a registered Democrat until he faced incumbent Dinkins in the NY mayoral race. He then ran on the Republican and Liberal tickets. The only reason his candidacy is viable in the first place is because he stepped up where Bush didn't in the face of 9/11 and now he is riding that wave.

How soon we forget. Under Clinton, there was no 9/11-style attack. Eight months into the moron, we had one. And the attack destroyed the NYC anti-terror command center at 7 World Trade Center, with Saint Rudy getting out just in time. The man is a flake with no credibility on the issue.

It seems as though he is spouting fear for hopes of election. I hope the person elected will be spouting about trying to help the economy and getting more jobs to americans...building a wall and helping the poor along with better gun laws...(not stricter...just better)

He's using good, old-fashioned fear to try to intimidate. Rudy doesn't frighten me at all. He has almost no political experience (mayor of N.Y., big deal) so hopefully the cons are smart enough to try to elect someone experience.
What does he know that we don't know? Does he have a crystal ball?

In my opinion, he is privileged to info we are not.
Under Bill Clinton we were left as wide open as his zipper was.
Hillary Clinton, my view will be in Venezuela and gone. So yes. Rudy knows more than we. What he sez I would bank on regarding national security.

In truth, it would be funny if Hillary won and then Rudy was proven true. What do I care, I live back in the woods you see, my woman and the kids and the dog and me. If NYC burns, doesn't bother me in the least. I would hope they hit the Academy awards tho, just the thought of all them liberals hollywood slime burning alive gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

It's a win-win scenario for 'ol Rudy. If there's an attack, he can relive his few moments of glory, and blame Hillary. If there isn't, he can claim he was the one who struck fear into Osama.

They may have chosen to ignore the evidence of an impending attack the first time
