About unemployment - it is a common misconception that we have or have had a "welfare state." At it's height in the Great Depression, unemployment was 25%. For the past 40 years it has fluctuated between 5% and 15%. Suggesting that those 15% are "refusing to work" or that they are "ruining it for the rest of us," is IGNORANT.

I'd only pick one program: The one that ends all other programs. I am tired of people getting things for nothing.
My tax dollars should be supporting the country not other unemployed people who choose not to work. Those are the ones that ruin it for all the people who legitimately need help and have no plan on making it a lifestyle.
