Were we all happier in the Eighties?

I don't think I was, actually....although the Eighties did have its good points. How about you?

The 80's have good memories for me,but only because of the music.

Well, the 80's were OK, but people (Americans, anyway) were REALLY happy in the 50's. WWII was over, the economy was growing, crime was low, university enrollment was growing very fast, and gas was less than 25 cents!

There are things to be happy about in every decade. Enjoy what you have, as you may not have it forever. And be careful what you wish for; it just might come true.

One day, people will look back on this decade and call it "the good old days."

I wouldn't really know, I'm a ninties girl, although my parents were happy. They had to be because they got married in '83 had a baby in '85 and then had another baby in '87. I'd call that being pretty darn happy.

I had no worries in the 80s. I was a little kid. I had no bills, my only responsibility was to go to school and to play. The music was better, the toys and cartoons were better. The clothes sucked but other than that, I'd go back.

Life just seemed a little easier. The Apple computer, Spuds, all of the one hit wonders. Good times!

I was happy for quite a bit of the 80's. I wish I could go back there.
