I have heard that attractive women make approximately ten times what unattractive women do. Why is this? Is it fair? How can we change it?

Excellent question. We must have Affirmative Action for the ugly ones and must lower the beauty standards for the ugly ones too. (but just for the ugly ones). We must increase the number of scholarships for the Prostitution School for Ugly Women so they get more chances than the beautiful ones. We must make laws that make you have to hire an ugly slut after hiring 2 sexy bitches. Ugly prostitutes ARE SO discriminated against...we need to give them more rights to make up for the past discrimination.

Males are visual creatures....even in their minds.

A Male doesn't actually have to SEE a woman to get a hard on; just visualize the woman in their heads (no pun intended).

I agree it is about supply and demand and in each country the supply IS determined by the demand.

Do some serious reading about prostitution and you will find some amazing information!

As for the "looks" aspect, it's very subjective. Some men prefer a certain type, others prefer another.

As for ugly....ugly is as ugly does. I know women who are drop dead, cream your pants gorgeous and are the most hateful UGLY people I ever met. Subjective.

That may be true. However, if there's a shortage on pretty prostitutes, the ugly one gets the leftovers, and those leftovers discover she can rock their world much better than the others... So she gains a customer, and if that keeps happening, then her "dance card" is full every night. ;) She may end up making more money than the other prostitutes, right.

Same with men who do the same thing.

You have been watching too much TV and reading those smutty magazines.
In real life most prostitutes aren't pretty, but in the dark, and with enough make-up and wigs on they fulfill a beautiful woman fantasy that men imagine so they can overlook the fact that the pro they are with isn't so hot.
If you can afford the $1000 or so an escort will charge, you will get a more attractive product, one you could even take out. But cheap is cheap, even in the sex industry.
Its an open market, its fair, and you sure can't change it.

No. Hey are you posting this question because you assume that feminists hate prostitutes? Very interesting. While many feminists probably do not condone prostitution it is as the old saying goes "one of the oldest professions" if not the oldest. One of my friends who is an ardent feminist and lawyer and probably one of the most intelligent people I have ever spoken to is an advocate for sex workers. Her life work involves many aspects of being a voice for the sex workers in the "industry" and including but not exclusively human trafficking.
*Interesting little fact is that the biggest clients or johns of the workers in the dominatrix sector are extremely religious men or men of the cloth and from two different religions. how I love the irony*

actually... if you're speaking of the porn industry overall.. there are all sorts of kinks that are catered to by the different avenues of porn. You have your BBW type movies that cater to people who like larger women, there is the hairy type movies that cater to those who have a hair fetish, whether that is the pubic region, or legs, underarms and so on... the list goes on and on and on... you can pretty much find a subset of the porn industry that caters to anything and everything.

Basically.. if there is a demand for it.. it exists, so my question to you is... do you want the uglies? Because I'm sure I can help you find some. Also.. always remember.. beauty is in the eye of the beholder... what some consider beautiful others might not.

It is fair and you can't change it. If they are unhappy with their "income" then they should change their profession. No one wants to sleep with someone that they are not attractive to. It's a natural feeling. It would be like making modeling agencies sign ugly women.

The prostitution industry discriminates against women in general by existing.

Hey if you are selling a sub par product then expect less business.

And yes, whores are products if they are whoring themselves out for cash.

Now lets see how many whores give me a thumbs down.
Lets say number of whores = N
Where N = thumbs down *0.9 rounded up to the nearest whole number.

I have nothing against whores. It's a life choice that they are free to make. They're not knocking on my door or anything, so more power to them.
