Can I copy or otherwise import the document into another program (such as paint) to easily edit it? How?

Or any other program which I can put it into to edit it?

Any help appreciated. Thanks. :-)

Adobe Acrobat.

The reader is free. The 'writer' you have to pay for.

They have trial downloads so you can try them out.

Or...take a screenshot. Paste it in paint and do your thing.

You need an Acrobat Writer or Acrobat Pro (reader + writer) to do that. Once you have this application installed on your computer, open the pdf document with it. Once the pdf document is already open, select "File" then "Save As" and save it as a Microsoft Word document. Then you can open the saved file and edit it using Microsoft Word.

However, if the original pdf document has password protection, then there's no way that you can edit it if you don't know the password to remove the restrictions. Acrobat Writer would not even allow you to save the document in Microsoft Word format if the original pdf file is password protected.

You are going to have to run the PDF through an OCR (Optical character recognition) application. If you have a scanner, you probably already have one.
