ahhhhh
the 64 million dollar question
no one knows for sure there is no set rule anyone can find
most of ours just comes and goes at will
just enjoy it while you don't have it once you get it
its like a target on your back for the loons and violations

You must have 10% or more best answers and you must be participating in a certain category for a certain time. I was once a top contributor but now i've lost it forever :'(

At one point in time, I had one...The Yaholes took it away. I don't know why it appeared but then it disappeared the next day. I've never had 10% best answer so if someone tries to feed you BS, you know that they are lying.

You answer a lot of questions in up to 3 categories. It takes a lot of work. Put your mouse over their Avatar and you'll see what category they excel in. Some are in 3. Oh, and you have to have over 10% Best Answer average too.

I think it's some percentage of your best answers. I didn't have it, then I had it, then I didn't, then I had it again, then I don't have it. To me it's just a matter of what day it is. I'm not terribly worried about it.

Your Best Answer percentage must be higher than 10%. They also have to answer, ask and vote daily.

you answer a lot of questions in a certain category..but it's weird..i used to have one, and so did a lot of people, but they took them away..a couple people stayed top contributers!
