Not knowing what blue stuff you are talking about all I can say is that it PROBABLY wont. Most medicines for fish are made so they do not seriously harm your tank.

Also make sure to read the instructions because some medicines require you to remove activated carbon filters. Also it should say on there if it is safe for plants and what not.

I am assuming that you are using methylene blue. It does kill plants (not instantly, but slowly) and also kills bacteria in your biofilter. It is stated on Kordon's methylene blue label: "CAUTION: Methylene blue is toxic to plants. Methylene blue has been detrimental to biological filtration, causing a cessation of nitrification resulting in a rapid rise in ammonia and/or nitrate levels." If you want to treat a fish that has ich, i would suggest putting the fish in a quarentine tank and treat it there.

If one of the ingredients is formalin, it WILL mess up your cycle. Malachite green and copper sulphate on the other hand probably will not. If it has methelyne blue, I'm not sure that will kill ich, as it is a fungus treatment.
I really can't guess if I don't know what's in the meds.

No, it will not harm either your plants or your bacteria in the biofilter when used in proper dosages.

QuICK cure,right?

I'm gonna have to disagree with MM this time. Every time I've ever used it it's murdered my cabomba and my anacharis. Everything else seems to be alright... but those two plants (usually very hardy plants) just don't seem to react well.
