So this morning i went to look at my fish and he was sucked into the filter. I tought he was dead so i unplugged it and he swam away from it. His color is much more pale and he just sat there, but sometimes he swims around for a few seconds. His cheek on his left side popped. is he going to live? does he need to rest and then hell be fine? or what? its been 8 hours since he got out from the filter and his color improved a little but he still is just sitting there

He will probably be just fine given time. Sometimes the bubble will heal, though it would always be smaller and have a scar.

I'd be more worried about his body than his bubble. Are there any lesions? Is he really thin?

There has to be some reason this little guy got sucked into the filter-it's rare they do unless there's something wrong.

Bubble eyes are mutants. They will most probably have a short life. ALL of the bubble eyes I saw in the tank at the pet store where dead.

Usually pale coloration means stressed.
