Not all gay guys act like girls and vice versa, and if they do, why not; it's a free world and you only live once.

1) the sensitive feelings and beautiful shyness crap is a stereotype and doesn't apply to every girl
2) its fun to act like a guy. guys have less standards and inhibitions so its also easier
3) in a male dominated society, women who act more like men are noticed more and are treated with more respect

I'm a girl, and i definitely act like one.I'm not a tomboy. But some girls act like guys to show people that they are tough, and can compete with males.Or they just like acting like one.

I think that not everyone's nature tells them to be beautiful and shy and sensitive. It's only through cultural and societial stereotypes that we have gender roles. I think it's alright for people to break out into their own individual.

To each his own...not everyone is the same and if they choose to act that way then that is up to them. You have a choice in that if you don't like those types then you can choose who you like. I for one don't care, it doesn't bother me. I do not mix with them because birds of a feather flock together.

I don't act like anything. I act like myself. Though I have been characterized as being boyish, from my hair to my personality. I don't try to be a boy, I try to be me. I don't like make-up or clothes or the color pink (hence my boy shirts). It's just who I am. I'm not trying to be a boy, I'm trying to be me.

I agree whole heartedly. Not sure why so many girls these days are trying to be like guys but I can't stand it. If you're a woman, embrace it.

Why do some guys act like girls? I cant stand when a guy spends more time than me getting ready ....has to have his eyebrows waxed and perfect.
