It seems that sometimes I'll have a question in my mind, and the MP3 player or radio will play exactly the thing that I need to hear for an answer, encouragement, or advice. The most profound example was when I was in the middle of one song, I wondered what the wedding song had been in something I had written. The very next song out of over 800 in my player (minus about twenty that had already played) set to random was the song I was trying to think of. Similar things have happened other times on the radio and also with my MP3. Usually, the song(s) that comes up are the perfect thing to encourage me.

I've heard of pagans using modern technology as tools for divination, and I was wondering if this happens to anyone else.

BTW, if your answer involves demons, no thanks, I've already had my daily chuckle.

Thank you for reading.

I find that that happens to me a lot. Sometimes I'm over-thinking things and either a "gotta sing along" song will come on which distracts me enough to actually think, or a song with lyrics that address my ideas will come on. I've also started singing a random song to myself, and then it plays on the radio or random mp3.

On myspace somebody posted something interesting. You think of what you desire and type it into google and choose the "I'm feeling lucky" option. The format is:
(your name) needs a (what you desire)
The site which comes up will give you insight about how to achieve your goal.

that actually happens to me alot. I think it might be an illusion, like the song starts and you think oh this is exactly the song i wanted to hear not realizing thatthat you didn't actually think about it until after the song started. also on a lot of radio stations they play the same songs over and over, and if you get one stuck in your head you might always be thinking about it a little and then it comes on and you go woah! no demons though.

I use my MP3 player for Old Time Radio. I listen to voices of the past and sometimes their hopes for the future.
