If I were you, I would try both World of Warcraft and any variation of Guild Wars. They are both very good MMORPG's, however very different. Try the 10 day free trial for World of Warcraft on www.worldofwarcraft.com. I personally like World of Warcraft better, however, Guild wars has NO MONTHLY FEE, so if you want to save some money, Guild Wars might be a better choice. You do, however have to buy a retail copy of Guild Wars in order to play it.

World of Warcraft requires you to play this game all the time if you want to be one of the best in the game. Unless you have ALOT of time on your hands you should get this game. World of Warcraft enables you to become your own character in this gaming world, so you are able to interact with millions of people online, but its better if you have friends playing the game so its easier. But remember the games not cheap you have to buy the game and the expansion pack and pay 15$ a month. I think you should take a 10 day trial to see if you like it and if its worth it

As a now professional gamer, and leader/co-founder of one of the current top ranking guilds on WoW, I can attest to what that guy said about the Zygor guides from that website http://www.zygorguides.pcti-system.com .. When I first started using them, is when I started taking my WoW gaming to a whole new level. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. As advanced as I am now, I still use them as an awesome reference/aid. Highly recommended if you're serious about being an accomplished WoW gamer, or just a newb looking to quickly learn the ropes and advance. On a side note, I am looking forward to the Warlords of Draenor expansion coming in November, and the updated guide to go along with it. Should be epic.

This is a great game. But I warn you---prepare to be sucked in.
Unless you have amazing willpower.
The amount of playtime you can get out of it is ridiculous. Also, the expansion "The Burning Crusade" just came out, opening up a lot of new places to quest, and two new races to play.
The game is very in depth and a lot of fun.
If you ever get it, try hitting my character up on the bleeding Hollow Realm. Her name id Lorface.

WoW is the most popular. Lord of the Rings is gettnig a lot of hype right now though, and Vanguard isn't necessarily bad, once it is patched some more.

the best part obout GOOD MMOs is that they give u a free trial (cause they know they are good) so get a trial and after u can upgrade and keep ur playing with the same character like nothing ever happend
