Basically was the most major expansion of the US during that period. It covered several wars,French /Indian, Revolutionary, war of 1812, and many other military actions including the Whiskey Rebellion.Expansion to the west was all but a done deal by 1850. They had major California Gold strikes, Lewis and Clark expeditions, the trapping out of beaver and the mountain man era, along with many famous guides and mountain men.
Be easier to take it a decade at a time just in general history of the US. It would keep anyone busy for a very long time.

A lot, the American revolutionary war for one, but that's in just one part of the world. Where are you looking at specifically? or are you just looking for significant events in that timeperiod? A lot happened in that amount of time, you need to be more specific to get a decent answer, there's just too much that happens in 100 years to summarize in a short Yahoo answers blurb.
