Ridiculously close. Oh we all fall out, but rarely does it last long.

My extended family is about as dysfunctional as they come. But my immediate family (my husband, daughter, and I) are extremely close. Not exactly lovey-dovey but we do love each other and make sure we let the others know that several times a day with a kiss or a hug or an I love you.

Our family is definitely dis functional but our immediate family are all very close, and i think we stay close because of our ability to be totally honest with each other. Nobody holds back if they're not happy about something, its all aired, sorted and everybody moves on. You can't be lovey dovey all the time can you, its not possible. Life throws to many things into the mix.

I think all families have some level of dysfunctionality to them, it's whether they choose to let it be visible or not. So yeah, mine is dysfunctional, but we all get along fine. Not sure about lovey dovey though. lol

My family is completely dysfunctional, but we're still close. I don't know quite how it works. We spend sunday evenings together for 'family time'. Other than that, we can't seem to create a co-operative living structure. So, we're involved in each others lives... but not?

Disfunctional totally - Me and my sister don't really get on her kids drive me mad, me and my brother are fine, but my brother doesn't get on with my sister, don't get on with mother in law but think that is normal. Don't know rest of the family so I would say totally disfunctional! But maybe normal who knows?

Mine is very disfunctional...I try to distance myself from them. I feel that they are a bad influence over my mental health. I haven't talked to my mom in 6 months and all I can say is WOOHOO!!!

My mother took me and left my older siblings with my dad, he died 3 years later, my sister got herself knocked up at barely 16 by a Polish bloke who couldn't speak English,She converted to Judaism and moved to New Zealand, my brother was shipped off to my Gran in Ireland, he later became a Catholic priest. My mum abandoned me, I haven't spoken to her in 10 years. My sister hates me, and my brother judges me....dysfunctional enough?!
