I've already tried to snap it, but it doesnt do anything, and I've shaken the stupid glowstick untill I nearly wore myself out. Are there any other ways to get it to work, or should I throw it out?

Throw it out. Once the chemicals are spent - they are spent - you will need to buy a new one.

Throw it out. It doesn't work. It never worked. Get a new one from another company.
