You could try for the variety, but I don't know that he'd be interested. They need more meat protein, plus they have to have hard foods (snails, shellfish) to keep their beaks trimmed. Otherwise, they have feeding problems which can eventually lead to their deaths. If proper foods aren't provided, it can be necessary for your fish to see a puffer dentist! sounds like what my tank was like lol. I extensively utilized to maintain dwarf puffers in my discus tank, yet took them out and positioned them in a species basically tank. the proper way i stumbled directly to feed my puffers bloodworms, is feed all the different fish some blood worms on the different side of the tank you notice the puffer on. Then what I do is take a medicine suringe, suck up some blood worms in that. Then the place ever your puffer is, squirt the nutrition out close to by utilising him, yet slowly. each and every so often puffers do not choose to consume meals except they are moving, so i chanced in this replaced into the proper thank you to feed them. stable luck with them, they actually are great to maintain :) and inspect the question I asked approximately who owns discus, you're between the only human beings i know of so a procedures that owns them :) that is okay in case you are able to not....i replaced into merely asking human beings on right here who keeps discus and which one replaced into their well-liked. Whoever's fav discus closest to mine would win proper answer. basically a splash exciting question is all it replaced into.

I would be very surprised if your puffer ate peas. At least with ours, she won't eat anything that's not live.
