People age physically and mentally in one temporal direction. People are completely different at 80 than they are at 20. Saying you are 30 or 32 might seem like you are quibbling. But, in those 2 years, someone could have the most profound experience of his or her entire life. Age is not an illusion, but it is not necessarily relative. That 32 year old could be much younger in spirit than someone who is 20.

IMO, Aging is a Disease.
Something the medical field should seriously look into curing. Instead they feed us a bunch of pills with terrible side effects.
And I do think that sometimes the mind can cause illness in the body and therefore, premature aging can be caused by illusions of the mind.

You've Heard of the saying " Age is just a number" I believe this is what you are implying here.
Age is an illusion but aging is a physical phenomenon that no one can avoid.
We can all be timelessly young in our thinking and outward appearances, but time stops for no man's physical body. Aging is a natural unavoidable progression of life.

Age is a measurement. Someone could be 45 physically and 12 mentally. And in the case of most males, thats more true than not! Its not an illusion, but its a dynamic, not stationary, measurement.

It "can" be. Then again, everything in life can be an illusion, we are just assuming that it is there.

Yes, I look at a 10 year old now and say, "they are little kids" but when I was 8 I would have thought that they were adults almost.
