No, but my husband did. He was night manager at a popular motel chain. I went into labor and the next day my daughter had to be taken to a children's hospital down state from us. She had complications, but we were very fortunate and her problems were taken care of in about 7 days time there. When we returned his employer, which knew every step of the way what was going on, cut his hours in half and by the end of the week my husband was let go. They claim it was totally unrelated, but we knew different.

Yes, I did and truely that job wasn't for me...My son was sick and being a single mom I had to go and pick him up frequently from the childcare center...my job didn't want to deal with that so they let me go....

And I was cool with it because my child needed me and if they couldn't understand that I am a mom first than there loss..

No, but I was kicked out of childcare once for "scaring" the little kids! I didn't mean to run after them in a chuckie suit, honest

I lost a job many years ago when my child was almost constantly sick. I was either being called at work to pick her up from school or she was sick and I had to stay home. I was a single mother then. I was let go 3 weeks before she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Once they were removed, she was never sick again. If they'd only given me 3 more weeks......

I guess you can kinda say that. My ex-husband told me he was leaving and I'd have to find someone to watch our daughter while I was at work so I had to quit since I couldn't find anyone on that short of a notice.
