I don't think there is any type of product that makes stretch marks go away forever, but if you try using cocoa butter lotion it soothes the skin and fades the marks so it makes it hard to see.
I have tried a couple of Avon lotions for stretch marks and they never worked...It just kinda fades it away, but not forever...just temporary..

about the only thing you can do is be very religious with a good qualtiy lotion, and you will go through lots of it. Cocoa and Shea Butter lotions work very well, Aveeno lasts longer, although a bit more expensive. keeping your skin hydrated is the key, if you do end up with a few they are pretty light and hardly noticeable, and Mederma can help make that even less noticeable. Good luck and hope this helps

Cocoa butter is supposed to work, but if you're using it for abdominal stretching from pregnancy, you need to use it throughout your pregnancy to help prevent the stretch marks. Once you have them, they fade away in time, and instead of being reddish or purplish, they turn a silvery color and are far less noticeable. Stretch marks are also referred to as striae. There are also some creams specially formulated for striae, but these are very expensive and usually are used by women who want to get rid of their wrinkles. Strivectin (sp) is one such product, but it costs $135.00. For abdominal stretch marks, I would suggest Palmer's cocoa butter. It may help diminish facial ones also, and only costs about $5.00.
