While I don't think there's any Constitutional basis for the impeachment, the fact is that Kucinich isn't the only nitwit in Congress at the moment. I think there's a reasonable possibility of the impeachment going through, and the Senate has a similar percentage of nitwits.

Now, if they can do this to the VP without meeting the requirements of the Constitution, they can probably impeach Bush in a lot less time than it will take to impeach Cheney, and then.....

Georgie doesn't know? No. Cheney being impeached would mean nothing, since George is already the president. However, that wouldn't prevent George from keeping Cheney on as a non-governmental advisor.

True the Senate could impeach him and prevent Cheney from holding an elected office for 2 years or whatnot, but an advisor is an appointed position.
