Do you think the government hide things from us? Like secret meetings, maybe new sightings on planets, we never went to the moon, viruses, new technologies etc...

One of my aunts told me my grandfather (her father), died of Anthrax in the 50's. 1951 to be exact. She said they put something else on his death certificate because the government didn't want it to get out that anthrax was around. It's true too, I have a copy of the certificate and not a thing said about Anthrax. He worked with skins. Governments have been hiding things for years - they must think we're all idiots.

Secret meetings? All the time.

New sightings on planets? Why bother? It's in their interest to get that information out so they can justify the expense of NASA.

Never went to the moon? This is just silly. They went. I refuse to believe that the lunar astronauts...all military officers...would participate in such a sham.

Viruses? I doubt they're trying to create a doomsday bug.

New technologies? I'm sure there's some secret squirrel stuff we won't know about for years. There always is, and it's totally cool.

The government HAS to hide somethings from us. Those are called "military secrets". Hiding the belief that we never went to the moon, etc., is called "paranoid delusion". If we can land craft on Mars, what makes you think we couldn't get to the moon, which is millions of miles closer and vastly easier to do? The government has to suppress some information - the existence of the Stealth bomber acutally being in use was kept secret for 10 years, and if you look at a 3/4 profile of one it looks remarkably like a "flying saucer".

Governments hide things that they don't want our enemies to know, and that they don't want those under investigation for crimes to know. And corrupt officials hide evidence of their corruption under the guise of their government offices.

But Governments don't engage in the type of conspiracies that the nutcases claim they do - claims made because the nut-cases otherwise can't explain why nobody else sees any little orange men getting out of saucers near farms and trailer parks (except other nutcases).

The Government is not some secret force out there with its own energy and devilish thought processes - it's a collection of people who, at least in a democracy, have a common interest in doing a job for their fellow citizens that they think (sometimes mistakenly) will be to the good of all.

It's pretty hard to get all these people, or any significant number of them in any given agency, to agree to keep some cockamamie secret unless there's a damned good reason for doing so.

So if you think the government is claiming to have gone to the moon when it didn't, why would any group of people not only agree to make that claim, but have every single one of them keep that secrecy agreement forever? If the conspiracy theory doesn't meet the reasonableness test, it's likely BS, now isn't it?
Does the hiding of actual space aliens by real government employees for lo these many years meet the reasonableness test? Not to me. If to you, it may be time to get some help.

Consider this: Conspiracy theorists tend to distrust fate and suspect it finds ways to manipulate the laws of probability. And their theories thrive on our innate necessity to suspect deception before rather than after the fact. And they persist in part due to the extreme difficulty of proving a negative - of confirming the non-existence of this type of imaginary fear.

Just a few weeks ago an alien space craft crashed in the woods of my parents 100 acre farm late one night, causing quit an explosion. When we finally got to the crash site some of the aliens that survived the crash had managed to crawl outside, but had all died. They were disgusting, with their large black eyes and small gill like mouths. Not to mention their slimy gray skin. When the army arrived they paid us a thousand dollars a piece to keep quit. He said there has been a rash of crashes over the last few years, they get a phone call about once a week. He said it is funny how the crafts always seem to crash only in very remote areas with few witnesses. He said that is good because this way they can keep the whole UFO thing a secret to avoid world panic. I think I'll buy a nice surround sound system with my thousand dollars, what do you all think?

Yes, They have been doing it for years.
It has gotten worse since President John F Kennedy was assassinated. Apparently, the Bush Crime family does not like him very much.

President Woodrow Wilson gave a speech to Congress 10 months before World War I ended. His hope was to convince them that his 14 Points would be "the culminating and final war for human liberty."
http://www.historyplace.com/speeches/wilson-points.htm

I copied the first point for you below:

"1. Open covenants of peace must be arrived at, after which there will surely be no private international action or rulings of any kind, but diplomacy shall proceed always frankly and in the public view. "

Please note "Open" not secretive and "shall proceed always frankly and in the public view". We have never tried that.

After World War II - they established the United Nations. Part of the charter states "to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and". I put the link below so that you can read it for yourself.

With all the secret agencies within all of the worlds governments, who can tell which group is doing what to whom ? It is impossible to tell.
Nobody but the person who does it knows, but if nobody knows how can anybody be sure that the party claiming responsibility for it actually did it?

If I were a CIA agent and was involved in a covert operation such as one of the staged events on 9/11, would I take responsibility for it OR would I claim that a "Terrorist" like Al-CIAda did it ?

There is a rather lengthy history of business dealings, including heroin smuggling between the CIA, Osama bin-Laden and the Bush family.

The 2000 presidential election, or should I say voter fraud in Jeb Bush's (GW's brother) state, and the resulting appointment of President George W Bush by the US Supreme Court, which happened to have a majority of Judges that had been appointed to that Court by President George H. W. Bush (GW's father).

Someone told me that the reason that Al Gore gave up fighting was that he was taken into a dark room and shown three film clips of JFK's assassination, each clip was from a different angle.

This is also an interesting website, if you are into undercover operations:

Every nation should disband the CIA type agencies they have and let Iraq stop being their multi-national "Paintball battlefield". They are all using the same color paint (Blood Red).

The SPP cr*p. If they wanted you to know about what they are planning it would be all over the news. The SPP was created to further the North American Union (Mexico, the USA and Canada into one nation)

Don't believe me look at these sites which explain what is going on:

This site explains the NAU and the SPP and why it is so dangerous:
http://www.freedom.org/naugreen2/player.html

This site is actual legislation from Idaho banning this from happening:

This is a site which explains how Chertoff said in a memo that the DHS is UNDER the SPP which means that the DHS is UNDER what Mexico, the USA and Canada! If you go at the end of the article there are the actual documents from DHS which SAY this.

I believe they do. And they are the biggest propaganda users in the known world. They cover things up by making up stories on CNN, whom they control, just to keep us sympethetic to all the evil injustices they maybe up to. I love my country, but I despice my government. They haven't stood for the common man in decades. I think the government has turned into a secret society of bullies that go around the world attacking defenseless nations for personal gain, while they use CNN to spin up some story about how they are spreading democracy and saving nations form tyranny. If that was true, I'd be proud of my country, but it has yet to prove me wrong. BTW, where are the weapons of mass destruction?

Of course the government hides stuff from us. I'm sure there are so many things out there that we have no idea about, stuff going on right under our noses and we are oblivious to them. Do you eve wonder if there is truth to certain movies. Like if they allow those movies to make it into the main stream, how far off they from the truth? For example, Lord of War the movie. If they allowed these thoughts to be put into our heads, how much worst is it REALLY? I dunno, I think we are pretty much screwed. WE are not our governments top priority and we haven't been for a very long time.

we can be certain that the government hides things we don't want to know... the question is: who is it protecting?

For instance, the government hides the names of spies and any programs designed to thwart enemy attacks. It protects the people. However, the government also hides important information that may be key to the public's voting decisions.

As far as certain things like going to the moon, you can be pretty sure that it happened. (i.e. with a powerful telescope you can see the ISS)
