thanks for answering, seems there is mix reaction as to who will eat who! the goldfish or the crayfish! The goldfish are about 2 inches long and the crayfish is 3 inches long. Are 3 goldfish really too much in a 30 litre Bi Orb?

You are right, the crayfish will kill or injure the goldfish. If not immediately then certain before long. It's just a matter of time. Not to mention the fact that you are already pushing the limits of your tank. Before long at all all three goldfish will outgrow your 30L tank. You need to make plans on what to do with them as they do and what fish you want to keep in the tank in the future. I would suggest you stay with quite small fishes that are still small when they reach adulthood.

Good chance if it was a small goldfish and a large crayfish. I would think there would be some evidence somewhere though. The crayfish would probably leave the spine and skull behind. Check underneath any of the decorations in your tank. You could also check around the tank and make sure it didn't jump out.

Yes, it's true that goldfish need bigger tanks. I can see you are mislead regarding their actual sizes. Yours are not medium sized at all, and at 2" are still practically babies. Did you know a comets in the right environment can live decades and grow to over a foot long? The others also should get very large and can live very long lives, not to mention how thick bodied they are. In additon, they are among the messiest fish one can keep.
I wouldn't worry about the goldfish eating the crayfish, the size difference is too great, but the other way around is possible, especially in a little tank like this.

The crayfish see goldfish as food and will attempt to catch them. and the fish will get ripped up by the claws. The fish also see the crayfish as food. Not a good mix!

I think the goldfish will eat the crayfish. The goldfish will eat anything they can, and the crayfish feeds mainly on decaying matter.

If the crawfish does not eat them right away, he will pick at them until they die and then eat them. I would never put a crawfish in a tank where he is not lunch. (Love native tanks with bream and bass with crawfish. My bream would eat crawfish like candy.)
The only way your gold fish would eat your crawfish is if it dies and they were really hungry. Goldfish are herbivores by nature only eating small bugs and decaying protein matter occasionally.
Good Luck!
