Well look at the circumstances, clitoon overlooks terrorism completely too busy with blue dress distractions, and bam 9/11. the economy was already tanking back in the summer, too much exuberance from the clitoon gang in silicon valley.

So now new Pres, horrific terrorist attack, economy taking a double whammy thanks to clitoon, tough spot to be in.

Look at the economy today, better than ever before in history on almost every single metric. We have not had one incidence of terrorism in our country. Afghanistan is somewhat under their own rule again, Hussein the committer (is that how you say it) of genocide with weapons of mass destruction is gone, Iraq is free and if AMerica does the right thing it will remain free, al quaeda is all but non-existent or have gone underground, almost daily we are setting them back farther and farther.

SO there is a lot he can be proud of.

I like most people would have preferred he did some things differently but that is the case with every pres. Having to deal with the vicious attacks of Soros and the Socialists I am sure has been hard and a distraction, which is probably why they did it, they want to destroy AMerica.

and the last thing, I believe he is an honest and good man and look forward to hopefully meeting him some day. He definitely has a strong moral compass.

Recent history, like in the last few weeks? Then yes, he's been the best, and "only" president during that time.

You seem to have a habit of asking for people to add details to a generalized premise that doesn't have foundation to start with.

You haven't established that Bush IS the best President in recent history, and you certainly haven't given any detailed explanations of what your criteria is.

no, Reagan was the best president in recent history. Bush is not a bad president but nor is he the best

LBJ sucked as president.....Kennedy was shot.....Ford didn't leave with a great legacy.......Carter stank.....Reagan did nothing but get advised......George H.W. Bush was the president after that........Bill and Monica, need I say more.

You could say Gerald Ford (Rest his soul) was a great president and I do think he did better in office than Bush, but hey, think of this:

We could've had Al Gore or John Kerry in office!!!

Absolutely nothing. In fact experts on the subject of the presidents including near expert, yours truly, believe he will go down as America's WORST president in history. That should make the family of James Buchanan happy as he has had that title for over 100 years.

I don't know if he is the best or the worst.... Let's just say that our children and grand children will be affected by his presidency... Now you guess if I am being sarcastic.

I would say that it is far too soon to make any realistic comparison of Bush to other Presidents. He is still in office and the final effects of such events as the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq will not be fully known for years to come.

He's had to preside over the most inept bunch of bumbling thugs to serve in high office since Andrew Jackson.

Best at what? If you are looking for straight answers, then yes he is the best at corruption because of his constituents, or he is the best at snorting because of his drug use. Oh maybe he is the best president ever at drunk driving, or taking on every venture he has and failing miserably, then yes I can see what you mean.
