Sad, I used to sit and drink a beer, many beers,
Wondering if it was something I'd said,
something I'd done. I could never figure her out.
Some of our friends said she just never grew out of that stage.
I think they were afraid to tell me, afraid of hurting me.
So this song came to mean alot.
That eas so many years ago.
I wonder where she is today
So I could show her all the good years she gave away,
