My partner and I are starting a business and it would be classified as a general partnership, meaning we would both hold unlimited liability if our business was to fail. The original plan was to include "Ltd." but we have research and found that that suffix would be incorrect, so..........

There is no designated suffix for a partnership. Just use your business name. If it's Jones & Smith Company then use that if it's Jones & Smith Coffee House use that.

Some states require certain suffices ... Utah, for example. Check at your local courthouse when you register the business.
