yes..as long as 1 person knows they are being recorded..a third party cannot tape them but one of the two can...thats Federal

You must inform the person that you are recording the conversation if you want that conversation to be admissible in any court of law. But you don't need their permission to do so. They have the option of hanging up or continuing the conversation.
