First of all, these aren't equations. They're just expressions. So there's nothing to "solve". But you can SIMPLIFY them.
For the first one, just use the "FOIL" technique or the distributive rule twice:
(3√5 - 7) (√5+2) =
3√5√5 - 7√5 + 6√5 - 14 =
3*5 - 7√5 + 6√5 - 14 =
15 - √5 - 14 =
1 - √5
For the second one, try to factor out numbers that are perfect squares:
15√72 - 4√98 =
15√(9*8) - 4√(49*2) =
15*3√8 - 4*7√2 =
45√8 - 28√2 =
45√(4*2) - 28√2 =
45*2√(2) - 28√2 =
90√2 - 28√2 =
62√2

These are not equations but are expressions. You can tell because there is no = sign anywhere. We can simplify these expressions as follows:
(3√5 – 7) (√5+2)
= (3√5(√5) +6(√5) – 7√5-14
3*5-√5 - 14 = 1 - √5
15√72 - 4√98
15√(36*2) - 4√(49*2)
= 15*6√2 - 4*7√2
=90√2 - 28√2 = 62√2

(3√5 – 7) (√5+2) =
3√5(√5+2) - 7(√5+2) =
3(√5)² + 6√5 - 7√5 - 14 =
3*5 - √5 - 14 =
15 - 14 - √5 = 1 - √5
Resposta: 1 -√5

√72 = 2³ * 3²
98|2

√98 = 2 * 7²
So,
15√72 - 4√98 =
15 * √(2³*3²) - 4√(2 * 7²) =
(15*3*2√2) - (4*7* √2) =
90√2 - 28√2 = 62√2

Hello
(3√5 – 7) (√5+2) -- First step is to muliply.
Thus we get (3*5) + 6√5 - 7√5 - 14
Simplified this is 15 - √5 -14 ===== 1-√5
Next, 15√72 - 4√98
First step is to simplify to get 15(√36)(√2) - 4(√49)(√2)
This equals 15(6)(√2) - 4(7)(√2) == 90√2 - 28√2 = 62√2.
Hope this helps
