Yes, I would put a little cortozome (sp) creme on it. It will go away temporarily. Eventually it will go away permanently. The oils are still leaving his skin
The cortozone will help for "before picture days" and important days!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Believe it or not, breastmilk is the best for my baby when she had baby acne.

She started getting baby acne at age 3 weeks and I almost gave up when my friend asked that I try smearing my breastmilk on effected areas. I did just that.

Took 24 hours for it to dry up and a few days to completely be gone!

It should go away when he's between six and nine months old. It looks ugly, but it doesn't bother him in any way. Keep it clean and dry - don't put any lotion or anything on it, and if you ignore it long enough, it does go away.

Some babies get it from the middle of their chest, up over the top of their head, and down their back.

My daughter has just gotten over it. It is terrible. At first they thought it could be a milk allergy or hormonal changes. Since I was breastfeeding, I gave up milk. This did not help. I used hydrocortisone cream and washed her face a couple times a day. It cleared it up in about a week. I am not sure if this helped or she had gotten over it on her own.

Some doc say that if you breastfeed it could last the whole time you breastfeed.
Best of luck

You should check with your pediatrician just in case to make sure it isn't eczema.
