Width(W) is 2 ft.
Length(L) is 5 ft + 2 ft = 7 ft.
Perimeter = 2L + 2W
Perimeter = 2(7) + 2(2)
Perimeter = 14 + 4
Perimeter = 18 ft.

Easy. If the length is five feet more than it's width and the width is two feet then the length must be seven feet (two plus five). Perimeter is all sides added together so:-
7 + 2 +7 + 2 = 18 feet

D 18 feet. width is 2 feet. 2+5=7 so the length is 7 feet. perimeter is the measurement of the shape. so you take the 2 times the length and add it to twice the width to get 7x2=14+2x2=4 14+4=18.

Since the perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of all it's sides, the answer is : D) 18 feet
width = 2 ft. so 2 x 2 = 4
length= 2 ft. + 5 ft. = 7 ft. x 2 = 14
4 + 14 = 18

18 Feet.
If the With is 2, then you add 5 to it to give you the lenght. Length is 7, width is 2. so L+L+W+W=P, 7+7+2+2=18.

Perimeter means the distance around any given 2-dimensional object, so all you have to do is add the two sides together: 2+7=9. Don't forget that there are four sides to this object, so add 9 and 9 together and you get 18. The answer is 18.
