No, I don't think it is important. In fact, I think it is important that we move away from that argument and instead concentrate that population growth is properly planned for and accommodated in terms of resource.
Capitalism unfortunately distorts the reality of human existence and tries to insist that population growth should be a financial consideration...this is of course the maddest idea that any human being has ever come up with and has resulted in every crime against humanity that has ever been perpetrated.

I believe it will be done (and has already started) naturally, like if there are too many foxes they kill each other off or run out of food or get diseased, same with any other animal. So I think that is what is happening with people. Look at what we are doing to the place, we are going to run out of resources like wood and water, we are getting too crowded and diseased, we are having wars where nuclear weapons are being considered... soon we'll be wiped out but for a chosen few.

yes i think so. altho something drastic will not be done in britain any time in the near future, i believe china may have the right idea, is it china that only allows one child per familly? there are too many people in poverty at the moment and we are causing too much damage to the environment with the amount of people in the world. we are running out of space.

Yes, something needs to be done, for the environment's sake if nothing else. Exactly what should be done, though, is another matter. I don't have any answers on that front.

Actually, when you think about it, nature is doing something about it. People spend millions in fertility clinics only to keep failing to conceive.

no,you wont stop nature.unless of course you want to kill thousands of baby's born every year.but relative to our own country immigration should have been stopped decades ago.at least our country wouldn't be in the mess that it is.
