indeed the gun IS faster and will hurst less... BUT the needle done by the body piercer in my opinion will be much more attractive when it's done. the piercer will be able to control exactly where the needle is goin in your nose. but don't worry they know what they're doin and will be quick and as painless as possible.

if you want a good nose ring check these out. i love em. they're called nosescrews. they slide in and rest there instead of the nosestud. both of the links are great inexpensive jewlery companies. the second has a CUTE star nose screw!

but you can always get the piercer's advice on what to wear.

well i've gotten piecings with both the needle and the gun the pain of the needle is going to last longer since you first feel the need then the earring going through, but with the gun its 1,2,3, you barely feel the pain...if you do not get a stud you would have to use the needle but what you can always do is do the piercing with the needle and get the stud then later on change it...don't worry about it though everybody gets second thoughts when it comes to their piercings especially if there are people that are confusing the heck out of them. as for where to get it done the jewlers do it with the gun and the tatto parlor is the only place you could get it done with the needle but make sure that the place looks clean the last thing you want is an infection in your ear because of a dirty needle. but i personally think that you should get it done with the gun.

OK needles are a safer choice. Guns CANNOT be sterilized, guns push a blunt object through your flesh, causing more trauma. Needles on the other hand are one use, and pierce the skin not push through it. nostril piercings can heal just fine with a stud if done by a professional, or a ring. this also depends on the piercer some will pierce with a stud others will use a ring.

it doesn`t hurt at all & i think the best way to have it done is with a needle...that`s how i had mine pierced...i`ve heard that a gun has the tendency to mangle the tissue & such...an experienced piercer will know exactly how to do it to minimize any pain or discomfort...u will have to research the piercers in your area...pay a visit to the shops to see how clean they are, ask questions, maybe even watch someone having the piercing done (most places don`t mind, as long as the person getting the piercing doesn`t object)...it might take a while to investigate all the options, but it`s definitely worth it to be secure when u actually go for your own piercing!!!

I would reccommend going to a tatto shop that does piercings. They do not use guns they use a needle which is way more sanitary.

I always wanted one.

It's going to hurt. But your natural endorphins will kick in and make you naturally high right away. I think that's why some people are addicted to it. :)

Just do the needle, it's a better story.
