Must be some stuff personal . . . maybe a pair of sunglasses. Pictures of the kids? But you never see her open it. Her guard would have the glasses...or anything else whenever she wants. What's in the purse. She never opens it. Maybe empty?

She doesn't carry a purse, she carries a handbag. Most of the English speaking world calls them handbags, the Americans call them purses. A purse is something in which a woman keeps her money and it goes into the handbag along with all the other necessities of female existence.

Why would her bodyguard have her sunglasses? Every woman wants a bit of independence.. she probably just keeps things like a phone, mints, (I'd say tampons but um.. don't think she needs them anymore) etc like every other normal woman carries.

Well I can tell you this she does not carry money. She has a compact and a lipstick maybe perfume, the guard who walks behind her will probably carry a few bob on him just in case she needs it. I think she just likes to carry a bag.

I heard a rumor that she uses that purse as a signal to her guards and the others who travel with her. Like, putting it on her other arm means "Time to leave here" and things like that.

I read somewhere a few years ago that the only thing she carries in her bag is a hanky & her glasses. she does not carry money & anything else she may need is carried by her bodyguards.
She probably just carries it to give her something to do with her hands.
