I need a new furnice and wanted to upgrade to central air conditioning while the furnice is being replaced. How much would it cost for a new oil heater and AC Unit to be installed my house is about 2000 square feet of living space? We already have the duct work given the forced air heat.

I had a new furnace installed last winter here in Wisconsin. Cost was about $2,000 for high efficiency system. The air conditioner will be between 1,000-1,500 extra. Make sure you get the highest efficiency unit you can.

My gas company called me about a month after I installed the furnace. They thought I was out of town and my furnace failed. That's how much less fuel I use now. It really made a huge difference.

This is a good one for Home Depot since they're having sales for the summer right now. They offer the installation also. I saw the deals but cannot comment. I'm not in the market so passed on bye.
