Minnows often feed off of insects and insect larvae. I would try mosquito larvae if you know where you can harvest some. Of available frozen food you might try some bloodworms of daphnia.

Most will eat just about anything. Fish flakes or pellets are good if you have them, if not try some crumbled bread (just a little, you don't want to pollute the tank)!

If you have other fish and have a supply of different foods, frozen bloodworms are a good choice because these are a part their natural diet.

Some minnows (like central stoneroller) have diets made up more of algae than other items. If you don't know the type of minnow you've got, it wouldn't hurt to get some algae from the creek in which you found them and add a little of that to the tank as well.

Before long, you'll see what yours likes to eat.

Creek minnows will eat just about anything that smells good to them. From bread crumbs to regualr flake food to earthworms. You will want to keep them in a colder place however. Creek minnows are used to cooler moving waters and need lots of dissolved oxygen.

They will eat just about anything you feed them.

Regular fish food I suppose.

Frogs eat other fish, so i'm guessing that's what minnows eat.

minnows are not fussy eaters, just get them any flakes or palleted food, it is really simple.
