In the produce section of your market you can buy tortilla chips that are in strips. This is a good first move. Then some ground beef, (the good stuff with hardly no fat). Fry it up with some sort of hot sauce in it. Franks or Tabasco. Add this to the soup that has been simmering. Fill your bowl and add the tortilla strips and on top of that, Shredded cheese. This will add some flavor for sure (can't go wrong with cheese). And if your are feeling real adventurous, and a dollop of Sour Cream with the strips. This will ad a fun and tasty Mexican flair to your Veggie soup.

Quickly sauté an onion, garlic, ginger, and chili to taste with your sausage of choice.
When properly cooked dump daintily into your nice veggie soup and add a can of liquid cream of coconut milk.
Next time start your soup with 3 stalks lemon grass.
Thai Soup! Aren't you glad we're friends?

Cheese on top. Croutons. Popcorn. Crackers, of course. Or, just make a PBJ or grilled cheese sandwich to go with it!
