Well LJ's contract is up in 2 years, I believe, and there is some concern that the cheif dont want to pay LJ, LT type of money. So while they are not actively shopping LJ, they are willing to listen to any trade offers for LJ. Its more of a case where the team doesnt wnat a situation like Mcgahee next season, where a star player is complaining about a contract with 1 season left on the deal. However I dont think any team is gonna give the cheifs, enough compensation to aquire LJ this season, so its more along the hoopla line, however if a teeam were to come along with an unbelievable offer, the cheifs are willing to listen.

Get ready, because for the rest of the week rumors are going to fly, anything can happen but there were probably just front office talks which GMs and owners use to see what thier options are and who is trying to get rid of people. Its a common tactic. I do not see them moving Johnson, if there was anything going on between Johnson and The organization maybe but he has good character.

It could be pre draft hoopla. At the same time, teams are considering their options and try to find a deal for a younger player. I wouldn't be surprised if he is traded.

Pre draft hoopla. He wants a contract extension and to be payed on equal scale of LT. I say give him the money, but not the 8 year contract he's looking for.

If they do get rid of LJ they are fools. I don't think they will though. I think its one of those business things where they are spreading rumors to try and give them leverage with contract negotiations between the organization and LJ for next season.

def not true- Kansas City is looking for a running back in an earlier round to take some of the pressure off of LJ. Not to replace him

There is truth to the rumor. Johnson wants a huge new contract, KC is looking at what they could get for him. I think KC will end up re-signing him with a new big, long term deal but it never hurts to see what offers might pop up.

Sure Larry Johnson is getting traded...on Madden.
The Cheifs aren't going to trade their franchise back.

its not going to happen. stuff like this always happens before the draft. i think the cheifs biggest move before the draft will be what they did recently - trading dante hall to the rams for a 5th round pick. its like saying that LT is going to be traded to the raiders...just not going to happen!
