Yes......have been......I used to live right near there...I was younger then and I loved it, it was a friggen blast!!!!!! One huge party....big fat party.....I wouldn't go now but it was fun in the day and really puts the W in wild!!!!!!!! Most people camp out, if you are into that it is best....the local hotels will fill up fast and they raise the rates to at least double.....but have fun......if you do go......it's a great time. (it was safe too, no one got hurt)

Not the same, but still good.
Crowds seem smaller the last few years. I didn't get stuck in traffic at all last year. That was a first.
Rain is traditional. If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes.
It's also a good opportunity to meet people from all over.

Take a cruise on the lake, eat some actual reliable food.(not the distributors, try a close-by eating place) lots of the nicest scenic using to be got here across everywhere is robust at your doorstep. It's getting to be a pain. Lots of cops. Whole bunches of people.The place just ain't made for this kind of activity. Used to be great. Kind of laid back and easy. No more. It sure ain't Daytona.

when it was called motorcycle weekend back before it became a week long event it was the balls,a lot of fun and real riders.now it is a cop rally,the vendors suck,mostly they sell t-shirts,and most of the people that go there are wannabes,and yuppie scum.

yes rode up last year for first time it was killer rode up from pittsburgh 720 mi one way my brother lives in danville nh going again this year looking for people to go
