Like the bottom of a roller coaster ride
If the gravity on earth were doubled things would be a lot different than they are now.
Mountains would be half as high.Build up of ice at the poles would be a lot less.
Air pressure would be much higher and the weather would be much different.
It is not likely that the world would be much the same as it is now.

You would become twice and heavy as you are now. Your spin would compress under the stress if your frame stayed the same. And if the change was rapid, your heart and neck would have some problems. You would move much slower, yes, but I'm not sure what the effect on the muscles would be. They would obviously develope over time to support your new weight, but I think your heart would have the toughest time trying to get blood around.

1. At 2 G's it would take a lot of effort just to walk.
2. Over time your muscles would grow to make up for the difference.
3. Stay there for a few years, play basketball once you can jump again head back to Earth and your vertical leap would be 2x more. 10 foot rims would be a thing of the past, the new height would be 20 feet.

It would probably ruin a lot of sports, especially basketball. No one would be able to get the ball in the air. It might be difficult just to raise your foot. Probably difficulty flying any type aircraft if the gravity pull were doubled.

it would make you twice as heavy since
Force = mass*acceleration, and gravity is an acceleration.
It would feel like when you are in an airplane and they climb in altitude very fast and it feels like you are being pushed into your seat.
If earth's gravity were always like that, things would probably not be as tall, but you wouldn't notice it, because you would be so used to it. If it suddenly changed, that would suck!

Exactly. You would weigh twice as much. You can experiment with this on some amusement park rides that move you in circles and press you against the seat or the restraints.

We wouldn't be alive because the universe would be all out of balance and the earth would colide with other celestial bodies =D

if we would be heavier what about aliens that may live there? im sure that they would have adapted cos our earth isnt necessary the norm , maybe we have very limited gravity, im sure as we evolve we adapt to our environment

you would likely be twice as heavy.
It would probably be like everyone have to carry twice their weight. Some of us would probably collapse because we're not adapted to such strong gravitational pull.
