People usually cite the usual ones: the little oriental kid having a sh*t ("it's all gone, it's all gone!" - f*ck off), the Cillit Bang shouting b*stard, the Picture The Loan ads (scootah, videoing phone call etc), injury lawyers for you and all the other compensation twats, those two blokes dressed as f*cking women advertising paper towels, the list goes on.
But what gets me really riled and irritated, as a professional musician, is when a song is used in an ad and there are unnecessary 2/4 bars, or even 7/8 bars put in.
I'm thinking specifically of the AA recovery ads where they're all singing 'You Got A Friend' - WITH BEATS OF THE SONG MISSED OUT FOR NO GOOD REASON and the Diamond ad with that bird singing 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend' - WITH BEATS OF THE SONG MISSED OUT FOR NO GOOD REASON.
Actually, I can think of a possible reason: they needed to cut it somehow to fit it into the regulation 30 seconds. Well then, don't use the f*cking song in the first place.
B*stards.

(In a brain dead voice)
I was walking through reception at work one day, when I never noticed the floor was wet, I slipped and fell **** over tit and landed without a brain. Then because I am a total moron I decided to take advantage of the situation and make out my injuries were horrendous while I sat and watched daytime TV for 5 weeks while I was off work. I got 100% of the compensation I deserved.

(in an advertising voice)
If you'd like to be a moron, call Injury Lawyers 4U

The Lynx ad...ALL of the Lynx ads. It must be awful stuff.

Then there is an ad for some beer where one fellow starts screaming and is joined by more screaming men...unreal.

Did you see the new ad for Aero with the really goodlooking guy.....Now that ad catches my attention. Makes a change from the usual girlie ad. Men like chocolate too............

YES! I agree, who phones a finance company and say's "Hi Picture"? The guy looks like he's constipated when he mouth's 'sorry' and looks like he's got domination sex on his mind when he gives his wife the thumbs up, maybe 25,000 is their sexual keyword. And that annoying kids voice in the background, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr 'Mum, I can't find my trainers.' Under the bed? The correct response should be "Well you're not going outside until you remember where you dumped them are you, you little gobsh*te'

the other TV ad that annoys me; Cilit Bang 'Remember me! Barry Scott' grrrrrrrrrr. total eejit.

oh and yes, those adverts for Safestyle windows with Cannon & Ball or that annoying Mancunian dwarf ' I say ya buy one ya get one free' git.

i agree with you, the picture advert go through me, every single one of them. the first one with the woman filming her husband is so unrealistic as if your gonna record your husband talking to a loan company and the other with the annoying women is also just as unrealistic. If you were phoning for a loan you would firstly not shout to your son and secondly not whisper to your husband how much you were gong to borrow you'd sort it out before.grrrrrgggrrrgrgggrrrggrrr

The voltzwagon commercials with the annoying guy saying V-DUBBB. Every time I see the commercial I want to bang my head against the wall as I frantically search for the remote to change the channel.
