A rapper name Cam'ron was interviewed by Anderson Cooper and he said that he would never snitch even if he knew who the killer is. That there's a "code" that you're not supposed to snitch.

I understand not snitching when it's small things, but not when people are getting killed! That's just plain stupid!

There is no honor among thieves. Just because you are the neighbor, does not mean you won't be one of victims later.

They'e just afraid that if they say something, then the killer will come after them. I understand how they would be afraid about it, but there are ways of snitching that the killer wont even know it was you. And yes, if you don't snitch on them and they keep killing people then not only is that stupid but it makes you blood guilty too. You are the one that is helping people get killed by not saying anything. Blood is on your hands as well.(when i say "you" i am not talking about the person who asked this question, i am talking about the people who know stuff like that and still keep quiet.

Cam'ron should change his name to Mo'ron. Thats not snitching. Its only snitching when you are reporting on someone to save your own skin or for payment. I wonder what Mo'ron would do if a Wayne Williams or Aileen Wournos type killed his sister,wife,brother,daughter or son. Would he stick by his childish,shallow "Code Of The Playground"? His little code is nothing but Homer Simpson B.S. Let him or his family be the victim and see how he gets if a witness doesent talk.

I say put the house up for sale, then with moving date planned, then snitch. I mean you don't want to be next on the killers list, plus it wouldn't be a very popular place to live anymore, knowing there was once a murderer living in the neighbourhood.

That's ignorant. I would never live by those people's idiot "code of ethics". I would call the police on the person. But gansters actually do kill people for snitching. And rappers try to encourage people not to snitch. And their fans actually buy their albums and look up to them. How pathetic.

Code if you snitch? Please, hope he isn't a victim to a serial killer because someone knew and didn't want to "snitch.".Telling would be the only ethical thing to do. Makes me think of the dimwit who didn't tell the police her uncle was a pedophile when they came looking for a little neighbor girl who had gone missing. Her uncle had kidnapped her and buried her alive. Nice lady.

I wouldn't snitch, he wouldn't get what he deserves in the justice system. I would make sure he came to the same end that he put other's through, but I would make sure it was long and painful for him(an eye for an eye). Then leave him there and wait for someone else to find the body. Just doing my part to help humanity

Hell yeah I would! That kind of person should not be allowed to be in our society, and perhaps kill again, if someone has knowledge of their crime! The "snitch code" should not apply here.

I'd snitch in a minute! That's ridiculous not to let the authorities know when people are in danger. Women have been raped and murdered in public while everyone turns away. This behavior is not tolerable.
